These medium-sized dogs are about 22 to 32 inches high at the shoulder and can weigh between 85 and 100 pounds. A designer dog of the 1980s, the Pyredoodle is a mix of Standard Poodle and Great Pyrenees. This breeding ensures a fluffy, curly coat with minimal shedding and a temperament ideal for socialization with kids and other animals. Pyredoodles have lots of energy and need plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and play.
