This mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle creates a beautiful breed. With the colors of the Golden Retrievers and the curls of the Poodle, the Goldendoodle is often seen as a “designer” dog. This crossbreed is friendly and full of energy, both familiar traits of the Golden Retriever. They make for perfect family pets, especially for those with children. Goldendoodles are smaller than Golden Retrievers, ranging in size from 30 to 45 lbs, and can live anywhere from 10 to 15 years.

Goldendoodles come in Mini (15–30 lbs), Medium (30–45 lbs), and Standard (45–90+ lbs) sizes. Minis suit apartments or smaller homes, while Standards need more space and exercise. Learn how to choose in our Goldendoodle Sizes guide.
The “generation” refers to their Poodle mix:
F1 is half Golden Retriever/half Poodle
F1B is 75% Poodle (more hypoallergenic)
F2 and multigen are later mixes

Yes — Goldendoodles adapt well to Missouri’s hot summers and cold winters. Their wavy or curly coats offer protection in cooler weather, but it’s essential to groom them regularly and keep them cool during summer.
Prices typically range from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on size, generation, coat type, and breeder reputation. Minis and F1B (hypoallergenic) pups usually command a premium.
We partner with only vetted Missouri breeders who meet high standards for health, ethical care, and transparency. Every puppy comes with a health guarantee, and our team offers full support from selection through delivery.
