The Porcelaine breed originates from France, where it is called Chien de Franche-Comte. These dogs are medium-sized scent hounds that are known for their mild yet active temperament. Porcelains were bred to hunt deer and smaller prey (rabbits and boars), and so require plenty of activity. They are white in color with beige or brown-colored ears.
