Famous for being the fastest dog on the track, the Greyhound is surprisingly calm and even quite lazy most of the time! Flexible and easily satisfied with a smaller home and minimal daily exercise, these dogs love human company and are sweet-natured with children. In fact, Greyhounds prefer not to be left on their own, even if they do intend to sleep for as many as 18 hours a day. They grow to 65-70 pounds.
