The Chorkie is a cross between the Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier. It ranges in height from 6 to 9 inches at the shoulder and usually weighs between 8 and 15 pounds. Chorkies crave attention and lots of playtime, and they thrive with single owners or large families. Their fur is usually hypoallergenic and sheds little, which makes them ideal for allergy sufferers and small apartment settings. Chorkies need constant companionship and can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone too long.
