The famous Bloodhound is better than any other dog in the world when it comes to sniffing out missing humans. Muscular and strong-willed, these dogs stand about 58 to 69 centimetres high and weigh between 36 and 50 kilograms. Bloodhounds need regular, vigorous exercise and a strong leash (and walker!) to keep them under control. Bloodhounds are loving and dutiful, and great with other dogs and kids. However, they are single-minded when immersed in a scent trail.
