The Treeing Tennessee Brindle is a relative of the hound, originally bred as a special type of hunter called a treeing dog. Treeing dogs chase their prey into trees then call out to their owners to collect it. Highly instinctual, these dogs are energetic and enjoy spending time outside. Best suited to a larger home or one with direct access to a nice yard, the Treeing Tennessee Brindle makes for a loyal companion. They weigh between 35 and 50 pounds fully grown.
