The Spanish Mastiff weighs in at about 110-120 pounds fully grown, and boasts the muscular structure and massive jaw to go with that bulk. These dogs have a thick double coat that comes in a variety of colours, including fawn, brindle, and black. Spanish Mastiffs have calm and gentle natures, and with proper socialization they make great members of multi-pet households. They also make great guard dogs—without so much as a bark, their sheer size is off-putting to trespassers!

From the outdoor experience of the Braeburn Addition Off-leash Dog Area in Rapid City to the Miner Brewing Co. in Hill City, there’s something to please the tastes of any dog! Truly unique attractions, including Hartford’s 1880 Cowboy Town, allow dogs to accompany their owners on-leash to participate and learn about the history and culture of South Dakota.
