The Sloughi breed is a type of sighthound that originated in North Africa. This breed, also known as Arabian Greyhound, is recognizable by its elegant build, speed, and agility. Sloughis were traditionally bred for hunting and guarding. Today, they make popular companion dogs due to their gentle nature and friendly personality. Given the stamina of this breed, it requires regular exercise and mental stimulation to maintain its physical and mental health. Despite their affectionate personality, Sloughis can be reserved with strangers or children, and not be the best match for families with young kids.
