This lively cross between a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky weighs 45 to 88 pounds in adulthood and needs plenty of room to run around. Affectionate and great with families—especially older kids—the Shepsky needs socialization training to be comfortable around other dogs, cats and pets. Protective and wary of stranger danger, these dogs can be shy around new people but are quick to make friends when their owner tells them it’s safe.
