Breeders created the playful and curious Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka to be the ideal apartment dog. In fact, the breed name literally translates into "Russian Colored Lapdog." With an average height of 9 to 10 inches and weighing just 4.5 to 11 pounds, Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka dogs are clever, sweet and happy to please. Friendly and nonaggressive, Bolonkas are wonderful with children and other animals as long as they have proper socialization skills.
