Known to their fans as Pyr Sheps, these vivacious dogs grow to weigh 15 to 30 pounds. Clever and lively, the Pyrenean Shepherd is a traditional sheepherding dog from the Pyrenees mountains of France and Spain. Bred either as a smooth-coated or shaggy-coated dog in many colours, the Pyr Shep is fast, graceful and an impressive athlete. Make sure to give yours plenty to do! Games, competitions and outdoor activities will keep these dogs happy and out of trouble.
