The Pharaoh Hound is a medium-sized dog breed that originated in Malta and looks just like the dog statues from ancient Egypt. These dogs weigh between 40-55 pounds and have a short, smooth coat that comes in a variety of colours including red, fawn and brindle. Pharoah Hounds have a slim, athletic build and are known for their speed and agility. Energetic and independent, this breed is a good match for active households.
