This intelligent working dog is a mix between the Catahoula Leopard Dog and the Siberian Husky. The Leopard Husky ranges in size from a minimum of 30 pounds to a maximum of about 90 pounds, depending on its particular mixture of genetic traits. Friendly and tireless, as well as adaptable to cool or warm weather, this breed does very well in farm settings where there is plenty of room to run around. In fact, the Leopard Husky is a natural herder who will love to help out on the ranch!

The dogs of Connecticut are welcomed into many varied establishments, from breweries and salons to parks and campsites. If you and your furry pal are outdoor enthusiasts, you’ll enjoy the Southbury Dog Park, the Bear Mountain Reservation and the Jennings Dog Beach. You’ll find plenty of hiking trails and campgrounds where the two of you can run around and play throughout Connecticut. If you’re both looking for something a bit more cosmopolitan, take a stroll along Evergreen Walk and go right into the boutique shops you find along the way. Leashed dogs can explore the Mystic Seaport Museum shipyard and Mystic River in a small boat alongside their family members.
Like most Americans, the favourite dog of most people in Connecticut is the Labrador Retriever.
You can hike the Cascades trail at Mohegan Lake with your dog off-leash!
Dogs are allowed in the pet-friendly SoNo Collection Mall alongside their owners.
