The Jagdterrier, or German Hunting Terrier, is a small, versatile breed originally developed in Germany for hunting both above and below ground. Known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic, these dogs are highly trainable and make excellent companions. They possess a bold and courageous temperament, thriving in active environments. However, due to their high prey drive, they may not be suitable for homes with small pets. Regular exercise and early socialization are essential for a well-rounded Jagdterrier.
