These dogs love humans and have probably been working alongside them since the Viking Age as shepherds! A bit barky thanks to its instinctive protectiveness, the Icelandic Sheepdog has a friendly, happy face to match its personality. This breed is one of very few classified as a “spitz” and characterized by a foxy face, dense coat and puffy tail.
