This large and thickly coated dog is great for colder temperatures. It was traditionally used as a livestock guardian given its powerful musculature and tall stature. They love to roam the countryside and are not meant for small areas. The bigger the land, the better. Their personality is quite mellow despite their active and hard-working temperament. They are great with families and do well with other pets. They live anywhere from 10 to 12 years and can weigh a whopping 90 to 120 lbs!
