The beautiful Gordon Setter was originally bred as a bird hunter, but today many of these dogs enjoy family life. The breed also does well in obedience and agility competitions. Weighing between 45 to 80 pounds fully grown, Gordon Setters need daily play and exercise to maintain their health. When done being active for the day, these dogs are very sweet, affectionate and eager to curl up with family and relax.
