This breed is related to the English Pointer and is often recognized by its beautiful freckled body pattern. These dogs are energetic, bold and boisterous, and love to participate in activities. But they also love affection from their owners! Given their strong personality, they require appropriate training and socialization. If bored, they can tend to be a little destructive. They may not be the best fit for older couples or for families with smaller children. They grow up to be 45 to 70 lbs and live around 14 years old.
