The Finnish Spitz is a vibrant dog inside and out. The breed boasts a foxy face, golden-red coat, and the skills to earn itself the nickname, “Barking Bird Dog”. Also known as Finkies or Finns, these dogs are natural guardians. Athletic at 20 to 33 pounds fully grown, the Finnish Spitz makes a great companion with a unique bark that has been described as “yodeling”. The breed is a bit wary of strangers.
