Vermont is a very dog-friendly state, where you can find artist Stephen Huneck’s Dog Mountain. There are plenty of activities available to owners and pets throughout the state. Take a jaunt along the Dog-Friendly Beer Trail of Vermont and try a cold glass of what ails you while your dog makes friends with the staff. Vermont does not have an official state dog, though the Beagle and the All-American Mutt have been proposed to fill the void.
