The Chinook is a rare and affectionate breed, originally developed as a sled dog in New Hampshire. Known for their intelligence and loyalty, Chinooks typically weigh between 50 to 70 pounds and stand 21 to 27 inches tall. They thrive in family environments and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking. Their friendly nature makes them excellent companions, but they do not like being left alone for long periods. This breed is well-suited for active families looking for a devoted pet.
