Canaan Dog breed information
The Canaan dog is the national dog of Israel, and it comes from various countries throughout the Middle East. Known in its home territory as an ownerless, roaming breed, the Canaan dog makes a great herding or family guard dog. Notable for its perky, pointed ears and boundless energy, this breed usually weighs in at about 18 to 25 kilograms and reaches 45 to 60 centimetres in height. Take care with training or a Canaan will end up the boss of your home!
