Mixed from a Beagle and a Boston Terrier, the Boglen Terrier is a high-energy dog who prefers the company of a large human family. Sensitive and unhappy when left alone for too long, the Boglen terrier is great with kids, families, strangers, other dogs and cats. Standing up to 43 centimetres high and weighing up to 18 kilograms, the Boglen Terrier has a short coat and is easy to groom with regular brushing. Be patient while training your Boglen Terrier, as it is very scent-oriented and can get distracted easily as a puppy. Keep these dogs on-leash and make sure they get at least half an hour of exercise per day.

Residents and visitors in America’s Dairyland are welcome with their furry family members to annual dog-themed events like Door County’s Scottie Rally, Ripon’s Septemberfest and Cambridge’s Barktoberfest. Lovers of water sports should make a stop at the Lake Kegonsa State Park near Madison, which has a little pier dedicated to training doggies to jump in!
