Akita Pit breed information
A mix between the Akita and the American Pit Bull Terrier, the Akita Pit is a strong, sturdy dog that reaches between 75 and 125 pounds in size as an adult. These dogs are notoriously clever and protective of their family members. Akita Pits are a little sensitive, preferring to spend time with their regular families instead of strangers. Boisterous and playful, this breed enjoys clowning around with loved ones.
