A mix between the Akita and the Chow Chow, the Akita Chow is a large and often single-minded dog who needs a confident owner. Sometimes called Chakitas, these dogs are loyal and loving as well as occasionally stubborn. Best suited to a larger home with a yard, the Akita Chow makes a great running or hiking partner for lovers of the great outdoors.
