3. They Are Low-Shedding

As a doodle breed, most Cavapoos don’t shed at all or are at least low-shedding. This varies depending on the doodle generation and breeding parents. Cavapoos  are ideal if you are not the type of person who wants to be vacuuming your couch regularly.

Some Cavapoo owners report that their pets are hypoallergenic, mostly because poodles are known for their curly, low-shedding dominant genes.

4. They Are Easy to Train

Cavapoos are easy to train because they are highly sociable and intelligent. Training will be a breeze if you’ve had a dog before your Cavapoo.

Just keep in mind to use positive reinforcement heavily! Not sure where to start? There are plenty of effective dog training tools that you can use to train your Cavapoo.

5. They Have A Long Lifespan

Doodles typically live long lives because of the hybrid vigor they inherit.

Cavapoos can live for 10-14 years or more, as long as they are given the proper care. Beyond that lifespan, if properly cared for, healthy, and by avoiding certain diseases, they can even live up to 20 years.
